From Italy to Australia: our focus is on students and young graduates! Salini Impregilo’s partnerships with high-level Italian and international universities set the foundation for training talented early career profiles and developing the next generation of Tomorrow’s Builders, who are destined to become the driving force of our Group in the future.
In Australia, we recently signed an agreement of collaboration with the University of Technology Sydney, the 1st young university in the country. As a donor, Salini Impregilo will fund a bursary for deserving engineering students and sponsor the University Program for Women in Engineering.
Our interest in training young talent in light of our faith in their ability to help the Group respond to future challenges in the infrastructure sector is longstanding.
In 2015, we began collaborating with Politecnico di Milano University. The success has been such that we have launched the third edition of the Master’s in International Construction Management in October 2018 with a group of 15 international students who stand to join the Group’s Tomorrow’s Builders.
The programme, which this year sees a female component equal to 40%, guarantees training of the highest calibre for students from all over the world. It includes classroom lessons as well as apprenticeships, with the aim of creating professionals with specific skills in management and worksite processes in international large infrastructure projects.
